  Subject: SCG ORganizational Fair Tabling

Solar City Gainesville,

Time to start a new year and help advocate the expansion of the use of
renewable energy here in Gainesville. The first specific activity of our
group this year will be tabling at the Organizational Fair this Wednesday
from 9am - 4pm. I have attached a chart which members can sign up to table
on Wednesday. I will be present throught the day to answer questions.

Erin Condon - could you please get the poster board from the activities room
and meet me at 8:50am on Wednesday to attach the poster boards to the table.

Just to reiterate for our groups knowledge base and to have the ability to
answer questions about Solar City Gainesville, these are some of the goals
of our organization that you can discuss with interested students on
Wednesday.

- To educate and spread renewable energy interest throughout the city.
- To plan and organize a philanthropic event.
- To support and coordinate with American Solar Energy Society in making the
National Solar Energy Tour in Gainesville this october a success.
- To revitalize the solar panels located on Bruton-Geer Hall and also the
panels located on top of Shands Hospital.
- To create an eduational program to bring to local elementrary schools to
educate about renewable energy.

Please bring with you on Wednesday any material that you find related and
interesting that will help make our table stand out. But basically, your
goal when meeting interested students should be to invite them to our first
meeting of the year which will be held on the 26th (next Wednesday).

Thanks for your continuing support. Please sign up for a time slot, but even
if you are too busy no Wednesday, don't hesitate to stop by and chat with
those tabling and representing out group.

                  Regards,

               John November
